Guildford Crematorium

Client: Buxton Builders

Value: Undisclosed

Project Summary:

T. J. Lowery (Sub-Contractors) Ltd were honoured to be part of this stunning award winning £10million complete redevelopment of Guildford Crematorium, to include a new Chapel, waiting room and flower room all surrounded with landscaped garden areas and a reflection pool to create an idyllic peaceful environment. We were particularly delighted to be responsible for fitting the oak panelling which dominates both the lobby, reception and chapel areas. This clearly demonstrates the ability our experienced tradesmen have in being able to execute intricate joinery fit outs in extreme site conditions, with panels having to be altered on site to suite the as built fabric of the building.

Other Sub-Contract works for this build included the majority of first and second fix carpentry packages, ranging from 'T & G larch board canopies, internal & external doors and windows, door furniture, oak veneered internal window surrounds and window boards etc.
